The Golden Jubilee run of the first Howrah Rajdhani Express was celebrated on 3rd March 2019 at Howrah Station. Apart from the General manager of Eastern Railway, members of the Rail Enthusiasts' Society flagged of the train. A few members carried the RES Banner on the train and handed it over to the RES team at New Delhi on arrival the next day. IRCTC designed a special menu for the passengers of the commemorative run. Eastern Railway welcomed the travellers with rosebuds.
